1990 Baby Bear Experimental Airplane Project!!! TTAF approx. 250 hours, had a Rotax 503 on it for approx. 220 hours until 1996, then an Overhauled Subaru E-81 1800cc engine was installed for approx. 30 hours. He had cooling problems with the small radiator and installed two larger thicker radiators then quit working on it. He then built a Piper L-4 from plans and flew that. This plane has been in a hangar ALL of its life! It was last flown in approx. 1997 or 1998. In 1996 the wing fabric sustained damage from hail and some wind. The wings were recovered in Stits 90 and the Subaru was installed at this time as well. The wings have aluminum tubing spars and aluminum ribs. The plane has flaps and the left window opens outward. Plane wingspan is 30 ft and length is 18′ 8″. Tubing in the fuselage is 4130. It is a single place plane
