Lancair IV aircraft

This aircraft was purchased from an estate, was setting for years untouched. The project was built to be a very high quality Show Plane from the beautiful leather interior to the over the top paint with chromaflair (chameleon) stripes! Plane was completed, then Started the taxi phase of flight testing. It had a corvette automotive conversion at that time, he ran into cooling problems, with this engine install and had to start reconfiguration of the cooling system. It was at that time his life changed with health issues and the project went into storage. As the receipts show there was no cost cut in this build, it was to be a real Show Plane.

I have installed this Continental with 837.1 total time since new, engine mount for new configuration, and Hartzel 3 blade prop, 604.3 hours since new. This aircraft will be a real head turner. This is a project so will need to be completed. The good news is it’s never had an airworthiness so you can complete and be the mechanic for this aircraft!
