THE SAME STRETCHED CABIN AS THE ARCHER, SO IT HAS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR 4 PEOPLE, WITH 4 INDIVIDUAL COMFORTABLE BUCKET SEATS, A REAR BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT WITH PACKAGE SHELF THAT IS ACCESSIBLE FROM INSIDE WHILE FLYING AND FROM OUTSIDE WITH A LARGE DOOR. THE CABIN ENTRY DOOR IS ALSO LARGER, FOR EASY ACCESS TO THE REAR SEATS WITH EXTRA LEGROOM THE DAKOTA ALSO SHARES THE BASIC WING DESIGN, THE SEMI-TAPERED WING, WHICH INCREASES TOP SPEED AND GIVES A SMOOTHER RIDE IN CHOP AND A MORE CONTROLLED DESCENT AND FLARE THAN THE OLD CHEROKEE WING. WHERE THE DAKOTA DISTANCES ITSELF FROM THE ARCHER IS UP FRONT, WHERE THE WORKMANLIKE 180 H.P. 4 CYLINDER IS REPLACED WITH A FIRE BREATHING 6 CYLINDER PUTTING OUT 235 H.P. !!  ACTUALLY, THIS ISN’T REALLY A FIRE BREATHING ENGINE, I JUST SAID THAT FOR DRAMATIC EFFECT.  IT DOES PUT OUT 235 HORSEPOWER, WHICH IS OVER 30% MORE THAN THE ARCHER’S 180 H.P., BUT THE 235 ENGINE IS UNDER-STRESSED, AND THIS SAME SIZE ENGINE HAS BEEN MADE TO PRODUCE 250 AND EVEN 260 H.P. WITH A COMPRESSION BUMP AND HIGHER RPM, SO IN IT’S 235 FORM IT IS BUILT FOR LONG TERM ENDURANCE, AND WILL GO BEYOND TBO WITHOUT BATTING AN EYE.
