This is a great flying aircraft. It is currently flying from a mountain airport in Buena Vista, CO Elevation 7950 ft.  With the O320 D2B 160HP engine it does fine at this altitude. It does even better at lower altitudes. It will take off at max gross weight at this airfield, but the climb out is slow (400 FPM) if the density altitude is 10000’.     The empty weight is 1132 lbs., Max Gross weight 1600lbs, Max fuel 22 US Gal. I plan for two-hour legs. Around 250 nm depending on the winds. It will get around 127kts TAS at 11500 burning around 6.5 gph.
