ENGINE HAS ONLY 281 HOURS SINCE MAJOR OVERHAUL (TBO IS 2,000 HOURS !!) GOOD LOOKING OVERALL, WITH BLUE AND RED STRIPES, BUT UP CLOSE YOU WILL SEE THAT THE WHITE WAS REPAINTED, AND IN SOME PLACES THE OLD WHITE IS SHOWING THROUGH. A GREAT 20 FOOTER, AND NO MAJOR FLAWS OR DAMAGE INSIDE THE 4 PLACE INTERIOR IS VERY GOOD, WITH 4 INDIVIDUAL BUCKET SEATS, IN BLUE VINYL WITH GREY INSERTS THESE SEATS WERE PREVIOUSLY REMOVED FROM A 1975 140, SO THEY ARE THE LATER “WARRIOR”  DESIGN, WITH ENERGY ABSORBING FRAMES, WIDER BACKS AND BOTTOMS, AND A MORE COMFORTABLE FEEL. NOTICE ALSO THAT THIS AIRPLANE HAS THE OPTIONAL BUT VERY DESIRABLE FIBERGLASS “HAT SHELF”, WHICH PUSHES THE REAR COMPARTMENT BEHIND THE REAR SEATS BACK, MAKING A BAGGAGE AREA, AND ADDING A HELPFUL SHELF THAT ADDS EVEN MORE ROOM . EQUIPPED WITH DUAL DIGITAL MX-12 760 CHANNEL NAV-COMS, ONE WITH GLIDESLOPE INDICATOR AND ONE WITH VOR. A KING TRANSPONDER WITH MODE “C” ENCODER AND AN AUDIO SWITCHING PANEL ARE ALSO INSTALLED ALL OF THE FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS ARE THE MODERN SIZE AND STYLE, NO OLD STUFF HERE. THE CONTROL YOKES HAVE BEEN UPDATED TO THE WARRIOR STYLE “RAM’S HORN” DESIGN, WHICH FEEL BETTER AND LOOK FAR BETTER !! EQUIPPED WITH PILOT SIDE TOE-BRAKES, FOR EASIER TURNING AND  CONVENIENT BRAKING. THE GLASS IS ALL SERVICEABLE, BUT THE LEFT WINDSHIELD HAS SOME SCRATCHES AS A LOW TIME AIRFRAME, IT IS NICE TO SEE THAT THE AIRPLANE IS NOT ALL PATCHED UP.  THERE IS A SMALL FLUSH PATCH ON THE LEFT WING LEADING EDGE, WHICH COVERS A HALF DOLLAR SIZE HOLE, CAUSED BY OF ALL THINGS A TOE-BAR HANDLE HITTING IT ? EQUIPPED WITH SPEED MODS FOR THAT EXTRA PUSH, INCLUDING FLAP AND AILERON GAP SEALS !
